The drain stopper was broken and when showering it didn’t want to drain. The bathroom door was a frosted door and it had dirty fingerprints and other dirt like smudges, the bath tub had a huge hole in it along with dirt and hair along the whole length of the tub on the bottom by the tile and the paint was peeling and dirty. As we are looking further into the room, it was not clean.
Upon entering the room, we see the light shade looks like someone put their fist through it multiple times, there was a light bulb just sitting on the chair in the corner. It was a non-smoking floor which smelled of cigarettes and marijuana the entire 5 days we spent there. I would hate to see the room they were going to put us in before the “upgrade” because the room we were put in was TERRIBLE. When we checked in the front desk informed us that we were getting “upgraded” to the Gold Tower. This is our first time staying at the Golden Nugget. We go to Vegas and stay in Fremont at least twice a year.
